It's the paying punters I feel sorry for (well, some of them!). Many of them are loyal to josh but they'll only be f**ked over so often. I notice Barrie & Anne can't go now either and, there's still no joining instructions anywhere for it. It's all well and good running games as a one man show IF you know what you're doing. To be absolutely honest mate, it was a total fecking blast from start to finish! As i don't do much playing, as i'm organising, It's the most enjoyable game i've played in a long time.
The kit levels were all surprisingly high, there was one bloke with a scrimmed modern rifle, but as a sniper i never saw him all weekend! don't think anyone used hire kit, other than a few guys with wood VSR clones so they could have a play at sniping. I don't think there was a single person there who's kit level wouldn't have passed PBI/CiA kit levels. Fair enough, it was a bit of a farby scenario, but Josh split the brit and yank sides to either end of the town, so we didn't see each other all day, which was nice.
It was all good tempered, good fun, and the Dog Co. boys were all fine, and i don't think i heard any cheat calling all weekend.
Manning was a bit of a smarmy cock, but as he was a septic, i didn't have much to do with him at all.
I'd happily go to another, as long as the scenario and site were right. And that's considering i've probably cracked a rib!

Hmmm, something stinks. Either they are trying to piss off those who said they were going but didn't (Anne & Barrie +2 & Pete and Yith, 16th SS etc etc) or they just has a good shooty open day or Gadge has been told to suck up for AI's advertising benefit.
Now, why didn't Yith go? And why have Gadge and Evo abandoned realism as the holey grail? (I'm excusing Nige as he will say anything Gadge says and can't put together his own thoughts).

Hope those photos weren't for an AI feature - most grossly overexposed and the ones he put in the PBI section grossly underexposed (and 'rescued' but he apparently likes the effect.

The over-exposed ones look like phone camera shots.

That's another two off the booking list then - must have ended up Gunman marshals, PBI (well 4 of), Dog Co and a few 47 Commando & FJ. Gawd, that must have cost Josh a pretty penny.
And he's offering 'refund' vouchers for a future Gunman game for people who couldn't make it but had paid their deposit.
